Catching your train at Casa Voyageurs
Direct trains to Marrakech leave from Casa Voyageurs. Buying a ticket, finding your platform, and travelling with luggage.
Direct trains to Marrakech leave from Casa Voyageurs. Buy the ticket from ONCF: online, at station counters and at ticket machines Source-checked 28 Sep 2026 Sources.
The machines take bank cards only, not cash Source-checked 28 Sep 2026 Sources. If you want to pay cash, use a staffed counter.
Save the ticket so it opens with no mobile data. On the day, match your train on the departure board. Do not trust a platform number from another site.

How we checked
Where you can buy, what the machines accept, and how an e-ticket is shown come from ONCF’s own sales pages. The luggage size and the help for a traveller who needs it come from ONCF pages too. A 2018 ONCF report is the source for platforms reached from a bridge. Whether the lifts work now was not on that report.
Nothing here was seen in the station.

Step by step
A booking confirmation from a third-party site is not always the same thing as an issued ONCF ticket. Use the ticket ONCF issued.
Our advice: save it somewhere that opens with no mobile signal, and keep the phone charged for inspection.
- Find your train number and departure time on your ticket.
- Match them on the departure board and follow the platform signs.
- If anything is unclear, show your ticket to ONCF staff.
Phrases you can show:
- Bonjour, quel quai pour ce train, s’il vous plaît ? Which platform is this train, please?
- من فضلك، من أي رصيف ينطلق هذا القطار؟ The same question in Arabic.
- Comment rejoindre ce quai sans prendre les escaliers ? How do I reach this platform without stairs?
The edge case
Luggage
ONCF lists a general maximum luggage size of 1.2 m × 0.6 m × 0.4 m Source-checked 28 Sep 2026 Sources. Bags must be manageable and stored so they are not in the way. Special items have their own conditions.
Stairs
A 2018 ONCF report describes platforms reached from a bridge above the tracks Unconfirmed Sources.
ONCF offers free help boarding and leaving the train for travellers with reduced mobility, booked 48 hours ahead at a station or on 2255 Source-checked 28 Sep 2026 Sources.
Our advice: if stairs would stop the journey, book that help before you travel. Do not count on a lift you have not confirmed.
What to watch for
Our advice: two mix-ups are the common ones.
- A confirmation that is not the ticket. If a seller’s email is all you have, open ONCF and check that a ticket was actually issued.
- A platform number from a blog or an old trip. The board in the station is the one that matches your train today.
Still being checked
Not yet confirmed, so not stated as fact on this page:
- A step-free route from the entrance to the Marrakech platforms, and whether the lifts are working.
Next on your route.
Each guide covers one step of the journey.
